Dealers profit despite lower sales in May
Despite lower new unit sales, the average dealer tracked by Spader Business Management broke into the profit column at the end of May.
New boat sales dip after strong first quarter
While new boat sales were up for the first quarter of 2010, one month later at the end of April, new boat sales were down 6.8 percent.

The average dealer tracked by Spader Business Management reported an increase of 3.2 percent in new boat sales for the first three months of 2010.

However, with dealership sales down 20 percent, earnings have continued to drop as well.
