ABBRA finalizes summer symposium agenda

WARREN, R.I. — Don Saracen, business relationship expert, will present the keynote address at the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association (ABBRA) annual summer symposium, ABBRA stated in a company release. The symposium will be held at the Mystic Yachting Center in Mystic, Conn., Aug. 2-3, 2010.

The symposium will start with “The Power of 3 C’s” by Don Saracen, president and founder of Saracen Sales & Marketing Advisors. His speech will touch on how to “Connect, communicate, and collaborate to re-energize your business,” stated the press release.

The ABBRA summer symposium focuses on sales, customer service and business development through real-life experiences, case studies and relevant examples. The conference will also include information on how to identify and recruit top talent, an update on ethanol and bio-fuels, a panel on the state of the industry with various association directors, recent litigation in the marine industry, information about the copper ban, and predictions and trends from the National Weather Service.

Attendees of the symposium will also be offered private tours of four New England boat building and repair facilities: Dodson Boatyard, Mystic Shipyard, Mystic Seaport and Noank Village Boatyard.
